Storms produce damaging wind, hail

LAKE MARY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A line of severe thunderstorms swept across the Florida Peninsula carrying with it reports of a tornado in Lake County and several suspected twisters elsewhere. Some structural damage to homes and businesses was reported, though there were no life-threatening injuries.
While no official tornado touchdown has been documented by the National Weather Service, several FOX 35 viewers submitted pictures of downed trees, power lines, damaged roofs and displaced trampolines. The NWS is investigating a tornado in rural Lake County and a waterspout in Merritt Island.
